Lionel Messi did not attend Monday evening’s ceremony in the English capital, London, and decided to stay in the United States and attend Inter Miami training.
Lionel Messi won the award, although the vote was on achievements from 19 December 2022 until 20 August, and Messi’s World Cup title achievement was therefore not included in this period.
