Saudi al-nasr club coach Luis Castro has revealed the latest developments in the injury of his compatriot and team leader, Cristiano Ronaldo
The Al-Nasr team is preparing to face their counterparts Inter Miami on Thursday night at the Kingdom Arena Stadium, as part of the 2024 Riyadh Season Cup.
“Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo is now in the final stage of qualification,” Castro said at the press conference before the al-nasr club and Inter Miami match.
Castro did not accordingly confirm Ronaldo’s participation in the match today
He added: “We prepared the team to win the Saudi Professional League, and the cancellation of our games in China was negative in the preparation during the downtime.”
“We will benefit greatly from Australian newcomer Aziz Bihic Qariya, where we can now play five foreigners and a sixth Asian player, and Alex Telles will make up for it,” Castro explained.
