This ambitious move signals a significant shift in the kingdom’s football landscape, as it aims to elevate the level of competition and enhance the quality of football in the league.

According to journalist José Félix Díaz, officials from major European clubs, notably Manchester United, Chelsea, Barcelona, and Betis, have recently visited Saudi Arabia to negotiate deals for several players.

The journalist, working for “Marca,” emphasized that officials from Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli, Al-Shabab, and Al-Qadisiyah are on their way to fiercely compete in the summer transfer race.

Díaz mentioned that Barcelona’s management has put Lewandowski and Rafinha among the prominent players offered to the Saudi league, while Manchester United has offered 7 players to various Saudi teams.

However, it’s not just about European clubs offering their players to Saudi teams; the kingdom has its sights set on acquiring top global talent.
