Guinness World Records has documented al-hilal Club as the team for the longest winning streak.
The Portuguese-led al-hilal Jorge Jesus won yesterday evening against his al-itthad counterpart in the second quarter-finals of the Asian Champions League to reach their 28th unbeaten victory.
Guinness reported that the most consecutive wins for men’s football in all competitions are 28, achieved by Al-Hilal (Saudi Arabia) from the Saudi Professional League, between 25 September 2023 and 12 March 2024.
The encyclopedia added that al-hilal broke the record just days after equalling the Welsh team’s record New Saints, after their 2-0 win over the AFC Champions League.
World media monitored the second leg of the AFC Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday, which brought the al-itthad together with its guest al-hilal, ending with two free goals for guests.

The Blue managed 28 victories in a row, the longest winning streak in football history.
