On Monday evening, the Saudi football team continued its training at the camp currently located in the capital “Riyadh” in preparation for its upcoming clash against Tajikistan in the third round of the second round of Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Cup.
On the ground, Green players conducted their training workshop on “Nativity Academy Stadiums” under the supervision of manager Roberto Mancini, which began with warm-up exercises and then a square exercise, before Mancini applied various tactical exercises after which a split of two groups was made over half the field area, and the training session concluded with lengthening exercises.

On a related level, the player “Mohammed al-Brik” attended Camp Lakhdar this evening and participated with his teammates in the training session, while the player “Ayman Yahya” continued his exercises with the medical staff.
Lakhdar continues its preparatory programme on Tuesday evening with an evening training session at the “First Park Stadium” at 9 p.m. The training session was scheduled to be closed to the media.
Group VII
The Saudi team comes in Group G in the second round of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup and 2027 Asian Cup, along with the teams (Jordan, Tajikistan, Pakistan).
Green led the group with six points after beating Pakistan and Jordan.
