On the ground, Green players conducted their training session at First Park Stadium under the supervision of manager Roberto Mancini, which began with warm-up exercises after which players applied various tactical exercises before Mancini conducted a manoeuvre across the entire field area, and the training session concluded with lengthening exercises.

Lakhdar will host Tajikistan on Thursday, March 21 at the First Park Stadium in Riyadh, while Lakhdar will be a guest of Tajikistan on March 26 at Dushanbe Central Stadium.
Saudi Arabia come in Group G in the second round of the 2026 World Cup and 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers, along with Jordan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, and Green top their group with six points against Tajikistan.
