The Capitalist Blue maintained the 12-point gap between it and its closest rival, the traditional rivals Al-Nasr, who is second and continues to catch the al-hilal.

Al-Hilal is four games away from the title, that is, half of the remaining eight games. He needs only 12 points to formally seal the title if his runner-up victory wins all his games, but the second-place stumbling may help speed up the title decider before then.
Portugal’s Jorge Jesus involved al-hilal forward team coach Saleh al-Shahri as a replacement for Serbia’s Mitrovic, whose long absence from the Crescent ranks began after the injury he suffered at the recent youth meeting.
