Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of al-nasr, continues to write history in the Saudi Professional League, after creating a goal against Al-Hilal on Friday evening in the 32nd round of the competition.
al-nasr awaited only 23 seconds to score the first goal, which came through Portugal’s Otavio Monteiro, after receiving an assist from Ronaldo.

With this pass, Ronaldo became the most contributing player to the goals during one season with a history of the Saudi Professional League with 44 goals.

Ronaldo scored 33 goals and provided 11 assists, surpassing Morocco’s Abdel Razak Hamdallah, the current Federation striker and the former victory with a historic figure of 43 contributions in the 2018-2019 season.

The then veteran Moroccan goalscorer succeeded in scoring 34 goals and provided 9 assists, becoming the most contributory in a season, before Ronaldo broke the figure after 5 years.

Ronaldo is only one goal away from becoming the most scored player in a season in the competition to match Hamdallah’s number (34).

Ronaldo is the top scorer in the current edition with 33 goals.
The Portuguese won a double against Al-Hilal in the final of the King Salman Cup for Arab Champions Clubs, while his goalscoring contributions were absent during two meetings in the league competition, and one match for the semi-final of the Saudi Diriyah Super Cup.
