al-hilal-derby-and-al-nasr-adorns-super-cup-final

Al-Nasr hit a fiery date with his arch-neighbor Al-Hilal in the 2024 Saudi Super Cup final after Al-Ghalib managed to win the cooperation, with a double without reply, on Wednesday evening.
The Nasrawi team qualified for the final to face Al-Hilal next Saturday night, where the “leader” managed to beat the Jeddah community on penalties (4-1).

This is the third time that there will be a confrontation between al-nasr and al-hilal in the Saudi Super Final, where neighbors have already played during the closing scene on two previous occasions.
The first time the 2015 edition was held in the English capital London, where Al-Hilal managed to win a goal without reply, before the pair faced off in the 2020 final, which saw “The World” win a trilogy without reply.

Overall, this will be the fourth clash between the two sides in the Super, where last season saw the victory in Saddam against Al-Hilal in the semi-finals, but the latter was decided by a score (2-1).
The Saudi Super will be different from the final derby of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, as a draw in which any result goes to the two teams directly to penalties, as opposed to the Cup Championship in which the game extends for extra time first.
Just as al-nasr Brozovic misses a suspension, the crescent will be for the first time in the derby without the star midfielder and captain Salman al-Faraj, who played the last encounter that essentially brought together the two teams, and then left by the end of the current season the leader’s ranks.
