The Saudi Ministry of Sport on Monday revealed the classification of saudi sports clubs for the 2024-2025 season based on the results of the governance assessment during the last season, stressing that this classification aims to strengthen the standards of governance and administrative efficiency in sports clubs.
According to the new classification, Saudi clubs were divided into six different categories: The “first” category, comprising clubs that achieved an average above 6.10 out of 7 in all last season’s criteria and category “II”, which achieved an average 6.10 of 7, and category “III”, which achieved an average of 5.10 7 and category “IV”, which achieved an average 4.25 of 7, and category “V”, which received less than 4.25 7 and finally category “VI”, which includes clubs that have met most of the governance requirements and standards.

On Monday, Al-Nasr Club rose to category “A” and topped the latest management rankings for saudi sports clubs for the 2024.2025 season, joining Al-Hilal, Al-Shabaab and the al-ettifaq club , as published by the Ministry of Sport.
According to the ministry, Al-Nasr club joined the classification, which gives his clubs an estimated support of 20 million riyals if the standards are achieved based on the result of governance last season, after achieving an average of 6 out of 7 per standard
