Al-Najma Sport Club is a Saudi Arabian football team based in Unaizah that is currently playing in the Saudi Second Division League, the team plays in white and black colors and green colors. Al-Najma has a fierce rivalry with the local club Al-Arabi, which is usually manifested in the Unaizah Derby.
Club Establishment:
The club was founded in 1960 by a group of young people from the province. They initially formed a team called "Al-Dulai'a Team," named after one of the neighborhoods in the province. Later, they changed the team's name to "Al-Nahda Club in Unaizah" until June 7, 1966. On that date, the name was changed to "Al-Aruba Club in Unaizah," which continued until November 11, 1968. Finally, on January 8, 1969, it was officially registered as "Al-Najma Sports Club in Unaizah" by a decision from the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs.
The club's emblem has consisted of green and black since its foundation. However, in 1977, the color white was added to it following a decision to standardize the emblems of sports clubs by the General Sports Authority.
Al-Najma club's headquarters:
When the club was founded in 1960, it initially operated from a rented building in the Al-Dulai'a neighborhood. Later, it moved to the Social Services Center building in Unaizah, where it continued until 1968. Afterward, the club leased another headquarters in the Al-Dulai'a neighborhood, followed by yet another in the Al-Mustagheetha neighborhood. Subsequently, the club relocated to its building in the Al-Matar neighborhood, where it remained until moving to its new facilities, constructed by the General Presidency of Youth Welfare. The transition to these new facilities took place on July 20, 1985.
The construction cost of the club's headquarters amounted to 120 million Saudi Riyals. These facilities span an area of approximately seventy thousand square meters and include two football fields with natural grass. One of these fields can accommodate over five thousand spectators. Moreover, the club features a physical therapy center and an indoor arena for various sports, with a seating capacity of over one thousand spectators.

Al-Najma Club Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Unaizah, Saudi Arabia. It is currently used mostly for football matches, on club level by Al-Najma. The stadium has a capacity of 3,000.
