Péricles Raimundo Oliveira Chamusca, born on September 29, 1965, in Salvador, Brazil, is a Brazilian football manager currently serving as the manager of Saudi club
Al-Taawoun.
Chamusca comes from a football-oriented family, as his brother Marcelo Chamusca is also a coach.
His coaching career includes various managerial positions, showcasing his versatility and experience. Notably, he achieved success coaching Japanese club Oita Trinita, where he secured the J.League Cup title in 2008. However, the following season brought challenges, with a significant number of player injuries and a 14-match losing streak, resulting in his departure from the club in 2009.
Chamusca continued his managerial journey by taking on roles in Brazilian clubs such as Sport Recife, Avaí, and Coritiba, as well as Qatar-based teams Al-Arabi and El-Jaish. He also managed Júbilo Iwata in Japan and Al-Gharafa in Qatar.
