The Chairman of the Saudi Al-hilal Club, Fahad bin Nafel, was keen to go down to the Al-hilal players’ locker room to congratulate them on the broad victory over the traditional rivals and retain the top of the Saudi Professional Roshen League.

A video of the President of Al-Hilal went viral with the players, who demanded a reward and chanted “100”, to which Ben Nafel responded immediately, referring to the disbursement of 100,000 rials per player, as confirmed by Saudi media.

Al-Hilal raised his balance to 41 points, extending the gap to 7 points with runner-up Al-Nasr, deciding the leader’s title of “winter champion” in the Saudi Professional League, regardless of the results of the last two rounds.

He said: “You deserve this reward because with this win you confirmed the team’s advantage, and you widened the point difference between it and the nearest competitor to 7 points.”

He added: “You have made a great effort over the past while playing in the league and the AFC Champions League, which culminated in the top two tournaments, as well as reaching the quarter-finals of the king cup”

Al-Hilal won the last 14 matches in all tournaments, specifically since the 1-1 draw with you on 21 September last, in the seventh round of the Saudi League.
