On the other hand, Al-ettifaq team continued to miss victories for the fourth consecutive game, “3 straight draws and a loss”, freezing its balance at 23 points in seventh place.
Romanian André Borka scored the winning goal for Al-akhdood, in the 73rd minute with a powerful header.
Borca reached his fifth goal of the season in the league, equalling teammate Leander Tawamba’s number.
Al-ettifaq secured its fourth win of the season, rising to 15th place with 13 points.
