Media reports revealed that the Saudi Professional League is in the process of rejecting two applications submitted by Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr on the competition’s schedule.
The programme “Scoop Sport”, which was broadcast on Saudi Arabia’s SBC channel, stated at dawn on Tuesday that the Saudi League’s competition management was tending to reject Al-Hilal’s request to postpone the Ahli match in the competition.
In the same vein, the same programme hinted that the Association was also going to reject the request for victory for the date of the Tai match.
According to the announced table, Al-Hilal plays against Al-Ahli on April 19 at the top of the 28th round of the Saudi League.
The match comes on a crescent-sensitive date, which will be held away from home on 16 April in the first leg of the ACL semi-finals, with the second leg to be held in Riyadh on 23 April.
On another side, Al-Nasr Al-Tai hosts next Saturday in round 25, in the first match after the return from the international break, while he will guest Abha on Tuesday in round 26.
Al-Hilal, along with his Portuguese coach, Georgie Jesus, is going spectacularly this season in all tournaments, finishing top of the Saudi Roshen League with 68 points, 12 points behind the runner-up club Al-Nasr, after 24 rounds of the competition.
