Salman al-Faraj’s golden march with al-Hilal was brought to a close after the club announced its final separation from him on Monday evening.

Al-Hilal said in a statement, via his account on “X”, that the board of directors of the club, agreed with first team soccer captain Salman al-Faraj, not to complete his sporting career with the team.

The Board thanked and appreciated Al-Faraj for his presentation throughout the club’s representation, which had witnessed many achievements and tournaments, and wished the player well in his sporting career.
Al-Hilali decided to write the finale in Salman al-Faraj’s career, having only participated as a substitute last season, due to the presence of foreign duo Ruben Neves and Sergej Milinkovic Savic.

Salman al-Faraj began his campaign with the “Hilali leader” in 2008 and continued in his ranks until 2024, completing 16 years with the historic champion of the Saudi League.
