The First Al-hilal Football Team sealed the AFC Champions League group with the largest points score in the history of its participation in the tournament, after its guest Nasaji Mazandran defeated Iran with a score of “2.1” yesterday during the last stage tours at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Sports City Stadium in Riyadh.
Brazilian Michel Delgado and Salem Aldosari, right and left wingers, scored the al-hilal goals in the fourth and 54th minutes. The Iranian team’s goal came in the 78th minute through Mahmoud Rahmati, a midfielder. The victory brought the Blue Points to 16 to finish the Group D competition three ahead of runner-up Navbakhur Namangan of Uzbekistan, who defeated Mumbai City of India by the same result.
Al-Hilal has achieved his best version in the AFL group stage since launching in 2003, after winning five matches and drawing in a match.
The Al-hilal collected the highest number of points (16 points) over its participation in “Asian”, an unprecedented achievement that exceeded its previous record when it collected 14 points in the 2009 edition.
Al-Hilal extended his record winning streak to 15 matches in all competitions so far, during which time Al-Hilal scored 44 goals, while conceding only two goals, keeping a clean sheet in 13 games.
The last match in which Al-Hilal was unable to secure victory dates back to September 21, when he drew in two consecutive games with you joining 1-1 in the Saudi League and accepted by Nafbakhur Uzbekistan with the same result in the Asian Champions League.
This is the 14th time Al-hilal has qualified for the AFC Champions League final over the course of its participation in the tournament since its inception in 2003.
Salem Al Dosari, the star of Al-Hilal, has achieved a historic new achievement with his AFC Champions League club after finding Nassaji’s net with the second goal.

Al Dosari became the Al-hilal’s historic top scorer in the AFC Champions League with 19 goals, as well as making 19 more over the 87 games he played in the competition
