Al-Hilal-continues-to-search-for-Neymar's-replacement

According to press reports, Al-Hilal has ruled out signing an Asian player during the current winter transfer window, reversing speculation that has hinted at an Asian deal over the past few days.

Reports revealed that al-hilal management did not find a highly capable Asian player worthy of signing him during the current winter transfer window, nor did extensive research result in finding the right player who conforms to the club’s standards and possesses the significant skills and capabilities required.

The move was a surprising decision for fans and followers of the al-hilal Club, as there were expectations that an Asian player would be hired to strengthen the team’s ranks during the winter transfer window. However, the decision was taken to exclude that possibility.

In a related context, the al-hilal administration decided to sign another player to compensate for the absence of Brazilian Neymar da Silva in order to strengthen the team’s strength in the next phase.

Neymar’s season with Al-Hilal ended after he suffered a cut in the cruciate ligament last October while participating together with his country’s side against Uruguay in South America’s 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

No details have been released about the potential deal that Al-Hilal intends to make, both in terms of the target player’s name and nationality, as the club negotiates more than one player.

Al-Hilal seeks to sign a left-back as a starting option, suffering greatly in this position, while the signing of a playmaker is second.

The sources of the “Middle East” have previously confirmed that the SBA Polarization Committee did not fund any strong deals for the big four clubs during the current winter transfer window.

According to those sources, it revealed that any domestic or foreign transactions made by clubs at their own expense or with the support of golden members or from the club’s revenues, would require permission and approval from the Polarization Committee.
