Saudi League champions Al-Hilal ‘s delay in concluding deals this summer ,and Saudi reports reveal the secret behind that.

Although it was 49 days since the end of last season, and the start of the preparatory crescent camp in Austria, the leader has not done a deal, nor is there strong indications that he is coming close to deciding to sign new players to strengthen his ranks.

Al-Hilal announced the departure of 6 players before the start of the Austrian camp, namely Matheus Pereira, Salman al-Faraj, Saleh al-Shahri, Muteb al-Ma ‘afraj, Mohamed Jahfly and Abdullah al-Maliki.

On Monday, Saudi newspaper Al-Maidan reported that Al-Hilal was conducting verbal and calm negotiations with more than one name during the current period.

The newspaper added that Georgie Jesus, the crescent coach, had not yet settled on a given name to join the ranks of the team, delaying the leader’s steps in the summer mercato.

Al-Hilal was on more than one wing, and Jesus was awaiting a player’s stability in order to enter into formal negotiations.

Al-Hilal won the league, cup and Super Cup treble last season, 2023-2024, and seeks to preserve these titles in the new season, and try to win the AFC Elite League in its first edition.
