Portuguese First al-hilal head coach Georgie Jesus decided to take injured Brazilian Malcom Felipe, Senegalese Kalidou Koulibaly and Ali Balehi, arrested with the blue mission departing Sunday night to Abha, in order to face Al Ahly in the Super Saudi semi-finals next Tuesday.
Last weekend, the Brazilian wing began a technical rehabilitation programme to restore ball sensitivity through a field class accompanied by a qualifying specialist, along with an increase in the physical fitness rate.
Malcolm underwent surgery, last June, on the tendon of the knee, by Dr. Lempini in the Finnish city of Turku, and spent the initial phase of his rehabilitation program in Brazil.
The decision of the Saudi Balehi Federation Discipline and Ethics Committee denied him the first two matches for Blue in the new season, for committing “disgraceful behaviour” against Sami Al-Najai, a midfielder of victory, during the final of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, which ended last May 30 with the culmination of Blue, while CouLibally blocked one game after being dismissed on the red card in the final itself.
Abha embraces the Super Cup competition from 13 to 17 August, when Al-Hilal, the champion of the Saudi Roshen League and King’s Cup, meets his private counterpart, while Al-Nasr, the runners-up of the two competitions, meets Al-Kadhafa, the fourth league.
