Al-Hilal-makes-its-first-winter-deals

Saudi al-hilal Club completed the signing deal with Brazilian left-back Lodi, coming from French club Marseille, according to French radio sources RMC.

According to “Middle East” sources, Lodi’s transfer to Al-Hilal Club will be on loan with a mandatory purchase of 20 million euros, with Al-Hilal Club receiving the approval of the Polarization Committee in accordance with the system explained to all clubs.

Lodi will be the fourth Brazilian to now be with Club Crescent alongside Michel, Neymar and Malcom, and 25-year-old Lodi made 23 appearances for Marseille after moving to Club France last summer from Atletico Madrid worth 13 million euros.

Al-hilal Club will pay the amount agreed with Club Marseille in three payments according to “Middle East” sources, where the player has also been agreed to sign a 3 1/2-year contract.

An informed source revealed that the selection of Brazilian full-back Lodi, in the long run, was not an interim option, as there were 3 options on Club Al-Hilal‘s left-back list this winter, and full-back Lodi was eventually selected.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, official papers will be signed on Monday between Club El Hilal and Marseille in order to complete the deal in full.

The Brazilian Lodi deal is the first winter deal in the Saudi league of foreign players.
