al-itthad Football Club’s first team continued its training on Tuesday evening at its stadium in the club’s headquarters in preparation to face its Gulf counterpart in the 32nd round of the Saudi Professional Roshen League.
The training led by Argentine coach Gaardo, after warming up, included ball fitness exercises, and the players applied the tactical aspect, before concluding with a manoeuvre on part of the field.
After recovering from the bruise and swelling of the right ankle, Portuguese professional Jota took part in the training, while Egyptian defender Ahmed Hijazi came close to returning to group training, where the player will conduct medical tests in order to give him the green light, to return to participating with fellow players in the games, while French star Karim Benzema continues his rehabilitation treatment program.
The al-itthad is the fifth runner-up in the Roshin League with 50 heavy guest points over the 11th-placed al-khaleej with 36 points, next Thursday, as part of the competition’s 32 round
