al-itthad-issues-an-important-statement

The management of al-itthad Club has demanded the postponement of the first team football and al-hilal match, scheduled for April 30, in the semi-final of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, until the completion of the five Olympians’ international participation in the Asian Under-23 Cup.

The company submitted the application through an official letter sent by the Saudi Football Association on Thursday, according to a statement published by the club through its account on the “X” website.
According to the statement, the administration demanded a postponement “so that the first team can benefit from the participation of its players Awad Al-Nashri, Faisal Al-Ghamdi, Zakaria Husawi, Ahmed Al-Ghamdi and Marwan Al-Ghamdi in the semi-finals of the Cup”.
The Western team currently misses these five players because of their presence with the Saudi Olympic team in Qatar’s Asian Cup.

In his speech, the club noted that “there was damage to the team due to the recall of its players outside the days of FIFA”, demanding that it be “stopped” by postponement, which would enable it to benefit from all its elements in the Clasico.
The al-itthad promised to take advantage of all its players available to ensure “competition justice”, especially in important games such as the semi-finals of the “most expensive tournaments.”
At the end of his statement, he expressed confidence that the competition committee of the Saudi Federation would meet his request “measured and equalled” by responding to Al-Hilal’s request to postpone his match with Al-Ahli in the Roshen League.
The Professional League competitions committee rescheduled Clasico Al Ahly and Al Hilal, and set May 6 as the new date, instead of Friday, April 19, against the backdrop of a one-day postponement of the UAE Blue and Eye team’s AFL semi-final first leg.

Due to climate conditions in the UAE, the AFC delayed the Al Ain and Al Hilal confrontation from Tuesday to Wednesday, prompting the “competitions” to postpone the Clasico, which was to come two days later.
Al-Hilal lost the match, embraced by Hazza bin Zayed Stadium at Al Ain Club, by a score of 2:4.
