Al-itthad team captain Ahmed Hijazi scored twice to lead his team to a 4-0 victory over Al Faisali in the last eight of the Saudi King’s Cup to complete Sunday’s semifinal contract.
The al-itthad joined the al-khaleej, al-hilal and al-nassr clubs that had previously qualified for the final.
According to Reuters, Morocco’s Abdelrazak Hamdallah opened the scoring for the al-itthad in the fifth minute of stoppage time for the first half of a penalty awarded by the referee following a tackle on Faisal al-Ghamdi.

Ngolo Kante doubled the score for the al-itthad with a powerful shot from outside the box in the 54th minute.
Hijazi then added the third goal in the 68th minute with a low shot from inside the box.
Ten minutes before the end of the original time, Hegazi scored his second and team’s fourth goal with a powerful header after a corner by Al-Ghamdi inside the box.
Hijazi participated in a local competition for the first time since his injury to Al Faiha Mayo in the league, following which he was away from action for a long time to be removed from the local squad before being tied back in January.
According to Middle East sources, the draw for the semi-final of the king cup will be revealed on Sunday.
The games will also be held on 29 and 30 April with the participation of the clubs “Al Hilal, al-Nasr, al-itthad and al-khaleeej.”
