al-nasr-al-ahly-and-al-itthad-criticize-the-league

Al-Nasr Club, early Thursday, joined its civil counterparts and the al-itthad in objecting to the decision of the Professional League to postpone the clash against Al-Ahli First Football Team and its counterpart Al-Hilal, for the 28th round, from April 19 to May 6.
On Wednesday night, Al-Nasr announced in a statement that he sent a letter to the league demanding that it abide by its previous consent throughout the current season regarding requests for postponement of games.
The letter indicated the rejection of the club’s request at the beginning of the season to postpone his team’s first football game with the agreement, on 14 August, preceded by, on 12 August, its final of the King Salman Cup for Arab clubs with Al-Hilal.

According to the statement, the Association invoked the adoption of the season’s calendar and television transport agreements with many global channels.
The team was forced to rest a number of its key players, who, after a 120-minute final, won the Arab title. Within the first round, the Agreement’s match resulted in the loss of the undercut victory of a number of its elements 1-2.

Al-Nasr’s statement referred to the violation of article 9, paragraph 4, of the Regulations of the League Competition, which stipulates that: “The administration of the competition shall be obliged to grant each club at least two days’ rest in the matches preceding or following its participation in any other official competitions locally or abroad.”

In objecting to the postponement of the Clasico, Al-Nasr reiterated his refusal to postpone his meeting with the agreement and not escalate his belief that dealing with all clubs would be reciprocal throughout the season.
His statement set commitment to the principle of equal opportunities and fair competition among league clubs as the league’s top responsibility and reminded its officials of their response to the Nasraoui request on the night of the Arab Championship final.
According to the club, the reply reads as follows: “In order to comply with the dates adopted in the calendar of the sporting season and achieve the objectives of the association’s strategy, it is not possible to approve your request. Thus, the match will be held on a predetermined date. ”
In conclusion, Victory expressed great surprise that the League’s position had now changed.

The League competitions committee decided Wednesday to postpone the Ahli-Al-Hilal match, based on the postponement of the UAE Crescent-Al Ain match, in the ACL semi-final first leg, from Tuesday, April 16 to Wednesday, 17, due to the weather situation in the UAE.
Al-Ahli challenged the decision, requesting a postponement one day, so that the “Clasico” would be played on April 20.
The Federation also expressed its rejection of the move and its promise to contradict the fairness of the competition and equal opportunities, citing the League’s refusal, on the grounds of lack of time in the calendar, to request that the club postpone its match with your inclusion, in the 16th round, 4 days before it was linked to the opening match of the Club World Cup, last December 12, knowing that your club agreed, according to the federal statement, to postpone.
