al-nasr-announces-signing-of-australian-star

On Tuesday evening, the Board of Directors of the Saudi Al-Nasr Club officially announced the strengthening of its first football team with a new professional during the current winter transfer window.

Al-Nasr said on his social media account X that he had signed an official contract with Australian international Aziz Bihic from Melbourne City.

The club revealed that the signing of the 33-year-old international came on loan until the end of the current season (2023-2024).

Bihic was one of Australia’s co-leaders in winning the 2015 Asian Cup, the only time Australians have been crowned the title since joining the Yellow Continent Federation in 2006.

Aziz plays for his country, which reached the quarter-finals of the 2023 Asian Cup in Qatar.

On Tuesday night, the club officially announced the return of Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina to the team’s roster after he fully recovered from his injury.

Al-Nasr decided to place Ospina on the team list during the winter transfer window, to be ready to participate with Al-Ghalib during the second half of the current season.

Al-Nasr is preparing to face Inter Miami, led by its first star, Argentine Lionel Messi, in the second match of the Riyadh Cup season, which is scheduled to be held on Thursday evening, February 1.

This match is titled “The Last Dance,” as it is expected that this will be the last meeting between Messi and Ronaldo after many years of conflict.
