The First al-nasr Football Team surpassed its highest number of victories in a single edition of the Pro League, scoring a new number by beating the host of the al-khaleej, with an unanswered goal on Saturday, in the 29th round.
Spanish defender Emerick Laporte scored the game’s only goal in the 68th minute from a header.
The yellow raised his winning number in the current league edition to 23, surpassing the 2018 2019 season, which saw his record of 22 wins.
That season was defined among the masses as an “extraordinary league”, won by al-nasr after a dramatic struggle with the al-hilal, decided by one point.

After beating the al-khaleej, the Capitalist team reached 71 points, surpassing its “extraordinary league” tally by one point.
The difference between the team and the crescent, the top of the table, narrowed to nine points, knowing that the Blue had a postponed match from the 28th round with Al Ahli.
The al-khaleej team froze its balance at 35 points and continued in 11th place.
The two teams meet again on Wednesday at the First Park Stadium but in the semi-final of the Servant of Al-Haramain Cup, which at the other level faces al-hilal and al-itthad of jeddah counterpart in a new Clasico in the Casz Championship
