Portuguese press reports revealed a friendly match being played by the Saudi al-nasr team during its camp in Portugal.
Al-Nasr football team is preparing for the new season through a Portuguese camp led by coach Luis Castro, through which he seeks to prepare well for future entitlements.
The Portuguese website “Mayes Football” indicated that Portuguese club Maritimo had announced a friendly series in preparation for the new season, including a meeting against al-nasr from 11 to 21 July.
The site added that manager Fabio Pereira will lead the Maritimo Second Division team in Portugal
The Portuguese club Maritimo announced on their official account X that they would play a friendly match against Al-Nasr in July in the Portuguese city of Algarve.
Maritimo’s Portuguese account indicated that the team will face saudi club n July 19, in preparation for the next 2024-2025 football season.
Cristiano Ronaldo is not expected to join his team’s summer camp due to being with Portugal’s second-round finalists from Euro 2024.
Al-Nasr has not yet disclosed details of his Portuguese camp pending the determination of the team’s entire friendlies during the preparation period.
