The management of the saudi al-shabab club approached the inclusion of Algerian international Baghdad Bounjah, the attacker of Qatar’s first Sadd football team, during the next summer transfer window.
“Sports” revealed to private sources that the officials of the Capitalist Club had made a two-year offer to the striker for six million euros per season.
According to the same sources, the two parties are expected to agree soon, signing the contract, especially in view of Bounce’s desire to play in the Saudi Roshen League, represent youth next season, and join a planet of international stars from the tournament, progressed by Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo with al-nasr.
The player entered the free period of his contract, which allows him to sign for any club. Algeria’s contract with Al-Sadd expires in June, preferring not to renew, and leaving after eight years with the Qatari leader, in which it has achieved several domestic tournaments.
al-shabab were on track to join Boungah during the last winter transfer window, but the deal did not take place in recent metres, according to “sports” sources on January 29. The striker has played 24 games with Al Sadd in the current season, scoring 14 goals, creating four, and has a market value of about four million euros.
