Saudi al-hilal Club continued its announcement to thank some of its players and their official departure from the ranks of the team.
After al-Hilal announced earlier today the departure of midfielder Salman al-Faraj and striker Saleh al-Shahri, the Saudi League champions also thanked the tired defender for the release.
The 27-year-old defender failed to regain his place in the formation of coach Georgie Jesus, following his return from injury, while Ali Beléhi and Senegal’s Kalidou Koulibaly were the most visible in the al-hilal’s domestic dominance season.
Al-Hilal had signed Al-Shahri in the summer of 2019, coming from the major, to play the leader 139 games, during which he scored 24 goals and set up 6.
Since moving out of cooperation, the release has participated in 27 games, during which he has scored a single goal while not creating goals.
The defender did not specify his destination after the leader’s departure, while his name was linked to a move to clubs in the Roshin League.
Al-Hilal has yet to announce new deals, pending the formal approval of clubs’ budgets.
The team begins the new season with the Saudi Super Cup, where they face Al Ahli in the semi-finals, while the winners play the qualifier of the victory and cooperation meeting.
