The first round of the 2023 Asian Cup in Qatar has been curtailed for the third time in history.

Target No. 1000

The Hong Kuna-UAE match, which ended with the latter winning 3-1, saw the 1000th goal in the tournament’s history.

Hong Kong’s only goal, signed by Chan Siu Quan, has been the 1000th in the history of the Asian Cup since its inception in 1956.
