Saudi player and national team, Ayman Yahya, announced his departure from the Green Camp participating in the 2023 Asian Cup, which is currently being held in Doha.

The player, Ayman Yahya, posted on his personal account on the social media site “Snapchat” a message of thanks to the Saudi Football Federation and announced his departure from the Qatari capital Doha.

In his letter, Ayman Hayat said, “My Lord, and you thank God and whatever He wants, I wished I could be one of the participants in the tournament, but my brothers in them are good.”

He had joined the final list of the Saudi team participating in the Mack Asia Cup, but eventually suffered an ankle tendon injury during Lebanon’s friendly, prompting Italian coach Roberto Mancini to be excluded from the list for the first match of the tournament against the Oman national team.

The player entered with the team’s medical staff in preparatory attempts to join the team in the second game of the group stage and was scheduled for next Sunday, but the injury requires a period of two to three weeks.

The Saudi team cut the tape of the current edition of the 2023 Asian Cup, Primontada against Oman, last Tuesday, after trailing by a goal in the first half, to win two goals for a goal.
