The al-hilal mission arrived in Austria on Monday, and Sergei Savic is due to join the leader’s training tomorrow, after coach Georgie Jesus gave him a day’s rest, following the arrival of his newborn.
The leader’s administration also resolved the crisis of guard Mohamed Al-Owais, who did not travel with the team due to visa procedures, and is expected to join the team in the coming hours.
Bono, who won the Saudi League’s Best Goalkeeper Award last season, was given a break to return and engage in his team’s preparations for the upcoming entitlements beginning with the Saudi Super Cup.
Al-Hilal will contest the semi-finals of the Super Cup on August 13 against Al-Ahli, with the winner to meet each other’s semi-finalists, who will face a confrontation between al-nasr and al-taawoun.
Bono last season played 43 games for Al-Hilal in all tournaments, conceding 27 goals, while he came out with a clean sheet in 20 games, including 15 at the Pro League level.
