According to press reports, Manchester United midfielder Casemiro is considering leaving for the Saudi Professional League.
The Spanish newspaper RELEVO said Casemiro was considering moving to the Saudi League and ending his career there. The player decided to leave his English club but did not specify the transfer window.
Earlier press reports had confirmed Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr club’s interest in signing Casemiro. Days ago, Manchester United announced that Brazilian midfielder Casemiro would be out of the squad for “several weeks” because of the injury he suffered in Newcastle United.

Manchester United said in a statement posted on their official website that Casemiro would be sidelined for several weeks with a hamstring injury sustained during Newcastle United’s game.
Casemiro believes Manchester United do not have a successful project to continue competing at the highest level, so he believes a move to Saudi Arabia would be an opportunity to compete with a number of former stars, in addition to securing a big contract before retiring.
Casemiro had already discussed the idea with those close to him, and clubs in the Saudi League were ready to make offers for his agent Oscar Ribot.
Manchester United also know Casemiro’s plan, but the English club do not want the Brazilian to leave at all, and hope he can convince him to continue for a year or 2 more.
The former Real Madrid star is on contract with Manchester United until June 2026.
