The competition committee of the Saudi Football Federation decided on Monday to change the date of the Saudi Super Cup, which was scheduled for 27 February to 1 March. The committee announced working with the relevant parties to set another date for the tournament.
The decision of the Competition Committee was in the light of changes made by the AFC to the dates of the first and second round of the AFC Champions League, following which a number of Roshen Professional League matches were rescheduled according to the AFC media release.
According to a press circular, the AFC reversed the AFC’s changes to the Champions League calendar, adjusting the home and away matches in the last 16 of the continental competition.
A number of Saudi Roshen League matches were subsequently rescheduled.
He participates in the Saudi Super Cup with his new system in the 2024 edition, FA clubs as champions of the league, Nasr runners-up, Al-Hilal as champions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, and al-wehda as runners-up.
The Competition Committee of the Saudi Federation works with the relevant parties to set a new date commensurate with the available times according to the variables of the continental calendar, to be announced as soon as it is approved.
