Al-wehda Club protested against the participation of Brazilian superstar Anderson Talesca in Al-Nassr, accompanied by his team during Saturday night’s match.
Al-Nassr beat Al-wehda by three goals to one, in the match they combined with the 13th round of the Saudi Roshn League.
The Middle East reported that the Al-wehda had presented the match observer with a protest against the participation of Brazilian victory player Talesca in the match.

According to Al-wehda officials, Talesca’s participation before him was irregular, following the decision of the FA Disciplinary and Ethics Committee to suspend him for two games, after he was expelled in the king cup match against the al-ettifaq.
Press reports confirmed that Al-Nassr had addressed the Disciplinary Committee, for Talesca’s position on meeting the Al-wehda, and the response was that the player was suspended for one match in the Roshn League against Al-khaleej, and would then be suspended for the other match in the Khadim Al-Haramain Cup before Al-Shabaab in the quarter-finals.
Al-Nassr secured a valuable win at the expense of the unit at 3-1, during the match that took place in the 13th round of the “Roshn League”.
The match saw Talesca participate naturally from the outset, provoking controversy, especially as he was expelled at the final price agreement meeting of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup.
The Saudi Football Federation then issued a statement confirming that “Talesca will miss two matches due to his expulsion.”
Indeed, Talesca missed Al-khaleej match in the last round, which ended in a 2-0 “global” win, but took part against Al-wehda, which opened up room for controversy.
Al-wehda Team’s governing body decided to lodge a formal complaint with the Saudi Federation because of Taliska’s involvement, which in its view was illegal, while demanding full match points.
What is the truth about the deduction of Al-wehda match points from Al-Nassr?
On this matter, Legal Counsel Jacob Al-Matir spoke in statements via the “Saudi Channel”, where he said: “Talesca’s participation is legal and there is no problem with the club or player.”
“Therefore, Al-Nassr excluded Talesca from Al-khaleej match in the Saudi League due to the additional suspension, and he also missed the Al-shabab match that is next to the quarter-finals of the king cup tournament.”
