The Egyptian Football Federation announced in an official statement that Vitoria had decided to exclude damac star Tariq Hamid, Emam Ashour and Hussein Al-Shahat from the Egyptian team camp, and after the said trio of players who did not participate in the Djibouti match were not completed.
The trio left the team’s camp before the Sierra Leone game, scheduled for next Sunday in the second qualifying round.
Vitoria’s sentence comes just two weeks after the Saudi FA Disciplinary and Ethics Committee decided to punish Tariq Hamid for unsportsmanlike conduct.
The committee decided to suspend Tariq Hamid for two matches, in addition to fining him 20 SAR 1,000.
The Committee stressed that the decision is not subject to appeal and therefore the 15-year-old was absent from his team’s past two confrontations in the Saudi League before Al-taawoun and the Al-Ahli of Jeddah.
It is worth mentioning that Tariq Hamid participated in 8 games with damac inclusion this season, during which he created a single goal and did not score.
