Former al-hilal star Carlos Eduardo of Brazil came close to returning again to Saudi Arabia, after his previous distinguished years defending the leader’s shirt.
According to Saudi newspaper Al Jazeera, the former al-hilal star during the current winter Mercato is close to signing with “formerly Falcons” club Neom, who plays in the Saudi Second Division.
Neom is top of Saudi Arabia’s second division, with 42 points, 3 points behind Zalafi, and Rawda is third with 33 points, after 19 rounds of the competition.
NEOM announced the acquisition of the Falcons Club in December 2023 and was renamed the “NEOM Sports Club”. The move was part of an investment project to privatize Saudi sports clubs.

based on Transfair Market data, he has found the net with his club 15 times, making 8 goals over 63 games across all tournaments.
Former al-hilal star has a distinguished career in Saudi football
Former al-hilal star Carlos Eduardo is one of the most outstanding professional players in the leader’s history.
He joined the Blue Team in July 2015 from Portuguese Porto, starred in the capital club’s shirt in 5 years, and achieved many achievements.
The Brazilian midfielder was able to achieve several titles accompanied by Al-Hilal. He was crowned with 10 tournaments, namely the Saudi League “3 times”,
the Saudi Super Twice, the King’s Cup 3 times, the Crown Prince’s Cup and the Asian Champions League, and participated in the 2019 Club World Cup.
