Spanish press reports have revealed that one of the active clubs in the Saudi League strongly wants to sign Brazilian Rafinia Diaz, Barcelona’s winger in the summer transfer window.

Although the Brazilian winger prefers to continue in Europe than play in the Saudi Professional League, one of the top Saudi teams does not abandon the idea of signing Rafinha.

The Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo said that a Saudi club – whose identity has not been disclosed – had made a bid of 100 million euros for the summer transfer signing of Rafinha Diaz.

The 27-year-old winger has not shown interest in the Saudi offer he was offered, as both the Brazilian and his family are very comfortable in Barcelona, and it will not be easy for him to leave the club.

The former Leeds United winger will only consider the option of leaving Barcelona as she gets an offer from an English club, where he still has the idea of playing again in the Premier League.
Press reports have previously confirmed that the four clubs owned by the Saudi Investment Fund, Al-Hilal, Al-Nasr and Al-Ahli, want to sign the 27-year-old.

Barcelona awaits Flick’s decision to seal Rafinha’s future
In a related context, reports have confirmed that despite Barcelona’s desire to sell the Brazilian winger under this huge sum offered to the club’s management, sports management will await the opinion of the new Catalan club manager Hans Flick.

Fleck is set to make his final decision to keep Rafinha out of the way, after watching the player in Copa America 2024, with the Brazilian side set to participate in the tournament from 20 June until 14 July.

Rafinha had joined Barcelona from Leeds United, England, on 13 July 2022, for 58 million euros, and signed a contract that runs until 30 June 2027.
