Carlo Ancelotti, manager of Spanish club Real Madrid, replied in a “funny” way when asked about his position in case he received an offer from a club in Saudi Arabia, for a large amount of money.

Roshen clubs have contracted the most prominent managers and players around the world in the summer transfer market, but the name of the “Meringue” team coach has never been associated with them.

Ancelotti answered a question about his position if he received an offer from a Saudi club for 500 million euros ($538.5 million), such as Spanish golfer John Rahm, who joined LIV Golf, a golf league funded by the Saudi Public Investment Fund, according to the official website of the Real Madrid club.

Carlo Ancelotti said, “I would go on foot, I don’t need to book a flight, because I would go walking, this is just a joke, each of us chooses the path that suits it, nothing surprises me or anyone, I’m not a golf expert, but I think Ram is very good and he’s the best.”

“I didn’t get any contact from Saudi Arabia, I live in the present and it’s very beautiful, I have other goals, I never thought about money because I grew up in a family where money isn’t the big thing, now I have money and it still doesn’t matter.”

The Real Madrid manager completed: “The main thing is to feel good in an environment, if I go to Saudi Arabia I will also be in good condition, but I am here now and I hope to continue as well.”

There are doubts that Ancelotti will continue at the helm with Real Madrid, where his contract will expire over the next summer, amid reports that a two-season renewal could be possible.

As well as the Brazilian Football Federation’s desire to appoint him as the coach of the team “Sulisau” until the upcoming 2026 World Cup.
