Portugal’s Georgie Jesus received the 2023-2024 Coach of the Season Award in the Saudi Rosen League after the al-hilal led to a record-breaking extraordinary season.
Jesus claimed the league title without a loss for the second time in al-hilal history (after the 2010-2011 season), and for the first time in his career.
On the bumpy path to achieving this achievement, Jesus continued to receive the trainer’s awards one month after another 5 consecutive times, in an unprecedented achievement, during the months between October 2023 and March 2024 (the award was withheld in January 2024 due to the discontinuation).

Jesus was able to build a strong team with al-hilal that had the highest points rate in league history at about 95% in roshen.
The Jesus-led al-hilal team excelled in offensive and defensive strength together, scoring 101 goals per season, the most in a season, as did the team’s biggest win in league history at 9-0 in front of the Packs.
The “leader”, led by Jesus, managed the league’s longest winning streak with 24 consecutive wins.
On the defensive side, Al-Hilal conceded the fewest goals of the season (23 goals) with a 12-goal difference from the nearest defensive opponents (Al-Ahly and Al-Cooperative).
