Spanish international Aymeric Laporte has hinted at the possibility of staying with the world next season, having been closely linked with a move to Real Madrid in the current summer transfer window.
The al-nasr was held on the sidelines of the team’s camp in Spain, after Laporte joined the World Camp in Andalusia, and came in honour of him, after being crowned the 2024 European Cup of Nations title with Spain, following a two-goal victory over England in the Berlin final.
The Manchester City defender was keen to send a message to the fans and players of Victory, on the occasion of this celebration, and in the presence of captain Cristiano Ronaldo, expressing his great pleasure with this wonderful gesture.
Laporte hints at staying in Saudi al-nasr
“I want to send you a quick message. Thanks for this beautiful celebration. ”
Laporte stressed that it was more important in the 2024-25 season to present victory, a better level than last season, from which the team was knocked out with “zero titles.”

The 30-year-old added: “It’s more important for me to focus on next season, what we can do to help the club move forward, and I wish we could offer better levels than before.”
He concluded his message by saying, “You are credited with the achievement I achieved with my team at the Euros, because I was a part of you during last season, we eventually achieved the title and thank you all.”

Al-Nasr had previously received an offer of $21 million from Spain’s Athletic Bilbao, in order to buy Laporte, but the Saudi league runner-up refused to sell him due to poor material compensation.
Real Madrid have also shown interest in signing Laporte, with the royal club wanting to include him after Nacho Fernandez’s departure to Saudi Qadisiyah, and with Edir Militao recently returning from a complex injury and David Alaba not recovering from the injury, but the royal club wants to sign the Spanish defender for free.
Al-Nasr prepares to play his first game of the season in the semi-finals of the Saudi Super Championship by facing cooperation next Wednesday night, 14 August, with the winner of that match meeting in the Super Final with the victor of Al-Hila.
