English club Manchester City rejected their Saudi counterpart’s offer of Saudi al-nasr club to sign Brazil’s £25m first-team football guard Ederson Moraes, according to sources on Tuesday.
The English club’s management, owned by the United Arab Emirates (UAE), wants to renew with the Brazilian international goalkeeper, and if it does not reach an agreement with him, it will make a financial assessment of the sale of the remainder of his contract, beyond what was provided by the Al Nasr management.
The capital club’s management has been in positive talks with the goalkeeper, who has won the Premier League title six times, including 4 in a row, as he has shown his willingness to leave England and play in the Saudi Rosen League.
The same sources indicate to the site that the management of the Saudi club has not yet withdrawn from negotiations, as the management of the “Cities” believes that the Misrawis will return with another better offer.
On 10 July, “sports” sources indicated that al-nasr negotiations with the Brazilian goalkeeper were continuing, but according to the club’s financial circumstances. Manchester City’s management would like to resolve Ederson’s file expeditiously, either by accepting the renovation offer submitted by them, or by leaving at the value imposed by the club’s management, and by seeking an alternative.
