Messi’s message comes following his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia late last January, where his team, Inter Miami, participated in the Riyadh Season Cup. The warmth and enthusiasm with which Saudi Arabia and the Saudi people welcomed him did not go unnoticed by Messi, who expressed his desire to revisit the country multiple times to delve deeper into its culture and unique position.
During a conversation with journalist Amr Adib on the “Big Time” podcast, Messi emphasized his appreciation for the love he receives and conveyed his perpetual gratitude to all those who support and follow him.
Regarding his retirement plans, Messi revealed that he has not yet contemplated the matter, affirming that he will retire when he feels he can no longer contribute effectively to his team. He stressed his self-critical nature, knowing precisely when his performance is at its best or subpar.
