The Ministry of Sport, in cooperation with the National Allocation Centre, announced today (Sunday), the launch of 6 sports clubs for allocation from various grades to local and international investors, namely “Zulfi, Nahda, al-akhdood, Supporters, Arabiya and Immortality”, as announced by the Ministry on July 3 Last July, the start of the second phase of the second track in the project of investment and allocation of sports clubs, based on the approval of the Council of Ministers to allocate “14” sports clubs.
This complements the implementation of the project to invest and allocate sports clubs, launched by the Crown Prince in order to achieve the objectives of the “Saudi Vision 2030”, and to give the private sector opportunities to participate in the construction and development of the sports sector, in order to achieve the desired benefit for national teams, clubs and practitioners of all sports.
The process of allocating the six clubs goes through a number of stages, until the completion of their commercial closure and transfer of ownership, where they begin with the receipt of wishes and request for qualification from investors through the “Investors” portal at the site of the National Allocation Center, ending on 19 September, at 4 p.m. (Saudi time), followed by the completion of the review of applications, the commencement of the stage of submission of financial and technical offers by the entities approved, reviewed and evaluated, and then the formal negotiation process, the selection of the best offers and the announcement of the investment entities acquiring the ownership of the six clubs
