Serbia’s Aleksandar Mitrovic, the al-hilal striker, equalled a historic record with the team, having scored a goal against the al-wehda during the teams’ game on Friday.
Mitrovic scored as al-hilal beat the unit with a clean double, in the 17th round of the Saudi Professional League.
Mitrovic raised his tally to 15 to finish second in this season’s scorer list, and is only overtaken by 17-goal captain Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to the official account of the Russian Professional League, via the platform X (formerly Twitter), Mitrovic was the only Brazilian Wesley, the former Crescent star, to score 15 goals in his first 15 matches with the Pro League “Leader”.

Wesley achieved his achievement with Al-Hilal during the 2012-2013 season.
It should be noted that Mitrovic did not make the first two games of the al-hilal this season, joining from Fulham at the end of the summer transfer season, to begin his journey with the leader from the third round.
Al-Hilal Club train continues on its trip to the Saudi Roshen League 2023-24 when Abha hosts the 18th round of Prince Faisal bin Fahd Sports City.
Al-Hilal did not lose a match in the Saudi Roshen League during the current season and fell only into the two-time tie trap, finishing first with 47 points, a full 10 points behind runner-up Al-Nasr.
In the last five clashes between the two teams, Al-Hilal won four times and drew on one occasion, and also won the first round meeting with a triple goal.
