Colombia’s David Ospina, goalkeeper of al-nassr, delivered a shock to Portuguese coach Luis Castro, before the derby against Al-Hilal, the resumption of the Saudi League and the AFC Champions League.
The Saudi sports newspaper revealed on Saturday that Ospina will be out for two weeks for three weeks, following the injury he suffered against Inter Miami on Thursday.
Ospina exited in the 32nd minute of the match held within the Riyadh Season Cup, ending with al-nassr winning a clean sixth
The 35-year-old Colombian guard was tested for a ruptured hind muscle.
This confirmed Ospina’s absence in the final of the Riyadh Season Cup next Thursday, as well as the first leg of the final price round of the Asian Champions League, on 14 February.
Ospina’s injury is a painful blow to Castro, who has re-entered the Colombian guard on the domestic victory list with the team’s first guard in the coming period.
Nawaf al-Aqaidi’s position on participating with al-Nasr was unclear because of his crisis with the Saudi Football Association, while Walid Abdullah, the third guard, will be the closest to the al-Hilal and al-Fayha matches.
Al-Nasr has 9 foreign players: Ospina, Laporte, Telles, Behic, Brozovic, Otavio, Talisca, Mane, and cristiano Ronaldo
