Chancellor Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, revealed a cooperation agreement between the Riyadh season and La Liga.
Al Sheikh met with Liga President Javier Tebas to discuss ways of cooperation and strategic partnership in the coming period.
“An important meeting and partnerships with Lalija and its President Javier Tebas include sponsorships with Riyadh season and (JIA) major events, as well as important matches and strategic future cooperation plans.”
During the meeting, he added: “There are major surprises to wait and we will announce them soon, and we are also seeking over the next two years to host a meeting of the Liga competition in Riyadh.”
Fédération internationale de football “Viva” had agreed to the possibility of holding matches in the domestic leagues of some countries in other countries exceptionally after the regulations had prevented that last period.
Al-Sheikh indicated that a private office of the Liga Association will be opened next August in Riyadh, within the strategy of joint cooperation with the Riyadh season
He added: “We are talking about games and we are discussing the future, following: Over the next year or two we may watch one or two rounds of La Liga in our country in coordination with the Ministry of Sport and the Saudi Football Federation, it will be with one of the most powerful leagues in the world.
