Ronaldo-is-crowned-the-top-scorer-of-the-year

Ronaldo the Portuguese First al-nassr soccer striker  rose to the top scorer in 2023 globally after scoring a double at the al-itthad ‘s goal.

“Don” scored two of the five goals, which al-nassr won “5.2” over its Western hosts, in the postponement of the 17th round of the Saudi Roshin League.

Ronaldo took his goal tally this year to 53, surpassing England’s Harry Kane and France’s Kylian Mbappe, the German Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, respectively, one more than each.

His goals were 43 with al-nassr and ten in his country’s shirt.
Kane and Mbappe lost the opportunity to chase a “Madeira missile” after their teams’ entitlements expired during the current world.

The World Team paid tribute to Cristiano Ronaldo, writing via the platform X (formerly Twitter): “Master and Shatter of Numbers, star of Saudi al-nassr Club, legend Cristiano Ronaldo, upholds the world’s 2023 goal by scoring his 53rd goal today at the al-itthad, skipping Killian Mbaye, Harry ane and Halland!”.

Apart from this pair, Ronaldo is still threatened by Norwegian Erling Haaland, England’s Manchester City striker, if he recovers from his injury, and is able to take part in either of his team’s remaining games before the end of the year.

The striker has suffered an injury, missing from action since taking part against Aston Villa on December 6 in the Premier League.

Ronaldo has a chance to boost his scoring tally and frustrate Haaland when he faces al-nassr next Saturday in the final games of the year for the yellow team.

Cristiano and his three pursuits succeed Belgium’s Romelu Lukaku, Mexico’s Santiago Jiménez and Argentina’s Lautaro Martínez with 40, 39 and 38 goals respectively.
