According to exclusive sources, Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese forward for Al-Nassr, is set to join his teammates in early August for their ongoing preparations for the new season.
Ronaldo is on vacation following his participation in the UEFA Euro 2024, where France eliminated his national team in the quarter-finals. Due to this, he is absent from Al-Nassr’s training camp, which began on July 7 in the Algarve region of Portugal and will continue until the end of the month.
The forward has agreed with the club’s management to skip the first part of the external preparation program and join the training sessions starting from the second camp, which will commence on August 1 in Marbella, Spain. Sources indicate that Ronaldo does not mind joining the preparations before the end of the month, provided his family has finished their vacation. Therefore, he has informed Al-Nassr officials of his tentative joining date, with the possibility of an earlier return.
During the Algarve camp, Al-Nassr has played three friendly matches and has three more scheduled, including one against Portuguese club Porto on July 28. Sources suggest that “Madeira Missile” will not participate in any of these matches, including the game against Porto. However, it is expected that he will play in the two matches scheduled during the Spanish camp, after which the team will return to Saudi Arabia to prepare for the new season, starting with the local Super Cup.
